Our Story – A Journey of Faith, Compassion & Transformation

Greetings and blessings to you!
I am Pastor Prabin Kumar Sipka, Founder and Director of Bethel Association. Along with my wife Mrs. Susama Sipka, we began this God-led journey in 1996, trusting only in faith and the calling God placed in our hearts.

How It Began

In 1996, my wife and I founded Bethel Children Home in the tribal village of Muniguda, Southern Odisha, India. At that time, Susma was serving as a nurse. In 1998, feeling a deep calling to join the ministry fully, she resigned from her job and stepped into God’s mission beside me.

Together, we started caring for five vulnerable tribal children—children who had no one to feed them, teach them, or protect them. What began with five children has grown into a family shaped by prayer, love, and the grace of God.

A Vision Born from Compassion

As I visited remote tribal villages, my heart broke seeing:

• Children neglected and hungry

• Many who had lost their parents

• Starvation deaths due to extreme poverty

• Lack of education and basic care

With tears and prayer, we brought these children into our home. We asked God to help us care for them—and He answered.

What We Do Today

By God’s grace, Bethel Association has grown into a multi-faceted ministry:

🏠 Bethel Children Home

A safe home for orphaned, tribal, poor, and downtrodden children.

📚 Bethel School

Providing quality education, discipline, values, and hope for a brighter future.

❤️ Bethel Daycare / Hope Center

A daycare center for slum and village children, offering education, nutrition, and love.

🙌 Spiritual Nurturing

Every morning and evening, children participate in devotion and prayer with our staff.
They pray for you, for India, and for the nations.

⛪ Church Ministry in 3 States

We are blessed to serve in:

• Odisha

• Chhattisgarh

• Andhra Pradesh

Over 24 years, God has enabled us to establish:

• 200+ churches

• 200+ church buildings

• Hundreds of pastors

• Thousands of believers who stand in faith with us
